The streaming service Netflix has announced a new project, which will be an anime series based on the Terminator universe. It is reported that an original story will be created for the show, and the central character will be a girl from the future.
The heroine will travel back in time to save Malcolm Lee, who must develop software to eliminate Skynet. Of course, an assassin will be sent after the engineer, from whom the characters will have to flee. The plot of the Netflix series is being developed jointly with the team from the Production IG studio, which was behind the creation of such a legend as Ghost in the Shell.
The series does not have a release date yet.
