Roblox authors sued

A group of American parents of children who played Roblox sued the project developers. The authors are accused of many violations, including those related to false advertising, competition and legal protection of ordinary consumers.

The plaintiffs claim that due to the fault of the developers, their children not only lost thousands of their parents’ money on Roblox, but also managed to get acquainted with adult content, and also became victims of grooming. The lawsuit claims that Roblox Corporation hides the true cost of donated goods and makes it difficult for adults to control their children's spending.

The date for consideration of the claim has not yet been confirmed. If the allegations are confirmed, the company faces serious financial penalties and demands to review its business policies.
