A major patch for Half-Life brought the old audience back to the game

Not long ago, Valve released a major update for its old-school shooter Half-Life. The update is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the title, and against this background, a lot of people returned to the game.

Thousands of players flocked to the Half-Life servers to see what the authors had done there. The studio added the following to the game:

  • new map for multiplayer mode;
  • content removed from the release version;
  • An hour-long documentary about the history of the series.

Before the patch was released, an average of 500 people played Half-Life, but now there are more than 30k users on the Half-Life servers. This is a great time to check out the game if you haven't already.
