Jason Momoa is unlikely to retain his role as Aquaman in the new DCU cinematic universe

In one of the new interviews, Hollywood actor Jason Momoa was asked what he thinks about retaining the role of Aquaman in the new DCU cinematic universe. To this, the star replied that at the current stage everything seems very sad.

Of course, he would be happy to appear as Arthur Curry in future DC films, but the current directors of the cinematic universe, James Gunn and Peter Safran, are categorical in their aspirations. It was previously stated that none of the members of the current Justice League would retain their positions, which means that not only Momoa, but also Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher will also lose their roles.

The DCU reboot will feature new personalities in old characters. The first film in the new cinematic universe will be a film about the adventures of a young Superman, played by David Corenswet.
