GFA Games presented a gameplay trailer for its new MMO shooter called PIONER, developed by the Codex of Tartarus studio. The official release of the game is scheduled for 2024.
According to information from the creators of PIONER, the game map is divided into two main parts. The left side of the island offers players story missions with minimal interference from MMO elements. Here gamers will be able to explore the region, delve into information about the world and its history, as well as trade, relax, collect resources and improve their equipment.
The right side of the island, intended for PvPvE and clan wars, is divided into two regions: Middle-earth and Shadowlands. The developers of PIONER emphasize that the gameplay in this part is built around survival aspects. There are practically no tasks or guides here, and the death of a character can lead to the loss of all accumulated resources.
Players will be given the opportunity to improve their character using a variety of skills. The developers note that the skill system has little effect on the hero’s strength compared to improving equipment and weapons at the workbench. For the maximum level of equipment upgrade, you will need unique drawings and resources, available only on the right side of the OStrova.
PIONER is planned for release in 2024 on the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. Open beta testing is expected before release, although the exact timing of this phase has not yet been announced.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have received an unpleasant surprise: the releases of two key films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been officially postponed to later dates. Both blockbusters will be delayed by six months compared to the previously announced dates.
The film adaptation of the popular horror Until Dawn has finally been released in digital format - exactly one month after its premiere in foreign cinemas. The film, based on the cult game, is now available online thanks to Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
