The US authorities have banned Apple from supplying Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 devices to its market. We are talking about smart watches in which, judging by the statement of the International Trade Commission, engineers violated a number of laws.
In particular, criticism of the devices has been directed at pulse oximetry technology. Masimo filed a lawsuit in this regard, accusing the Cupertino team of illegally using its SpO2 sensors. As a result of the investigation, Apple's guilt was confirmed, so the company now has no right to sell the designated smart watches on the Western market.
The defendants declare their categorical disagreement with this decision, but cannot do anything about it.
