According to a report from Deadline, three actresses are being considered for the role of Supergirl, Kara Zor-El, in the upcoming "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" movie in the DC film universe. Actresses being considered for the role include Millie Allcock (from "House of the Dragon"), Emilia Jones (from "CODA: Child of Deaf Parents") and Meg Donnelly (from "The Winchesters").
Journalists note that while DC Studios might have already chosen a specific actress, it's likely that all of them will audition next month. It is also speculated that the character will debut in a cameo in another DC movie before getting her own strip.
Director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran first announced Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow in January 2023 during a DC Studios press day. The movie is based on Tom King's 2022 comic book series.
