The authors of the new series on "Alien" will ignore the events of recent Ridley Scott films

The developers of the new series in the franchise "Alien" decided to ignore in their project the events that unfolded in the films "Covenant" and "Prometheus".

Noah Hawley, who is the showrunner of the new project, as the reason for this decision called the fact that he simply did not like the movies. The developer believes that Scott spoiled the franchise invented by him, and, according to Noah, Ridley himself also agrees with this.

Shooting of the new series should start in the first half of this year, the world premiere is scheduled for 2025. The events of the project will unfold on Earth 70 years before the first adventure of Ellen Ripley.
