Last week, Tom Henderson posted on his Twitter that the developers of Beyond Good & Evil 2 were facing some problems. The team lacks creative inspiration and does not understand what the title should be like in the future. The likely reason is the departure of Michel Ancel from Ubisoft.
The game's developers have independently contacted insider Tom Henderson to dispel rumors of the game's cancellation.
There is no exact release date yet, but Beyond Good & Evil 2 should be expected to release "in the next few years". Most likely, the games will be released in 2024 or 2025.
Michel Ancel is the creator of Rayman and the first Beyond Good & Evil. He left the company in September 2020. According to rumors, he did not work well with the new game designers who were appointed by the management.
