The developers of the game GTA 5 announced their intention to remove the Rockstar Edition clip editor from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. This tool will cease to function on last generation consoles from February 20, 2024. Together with the editor will be removed all clips and projects created on these platforms.
Rockstar explained that such a step became necessary to ensure the possibility of releasing future additions to GTA Online on PS4 and Xbox One. This decision is made in order to optimize and support the development of gameplay.
The film will premiere on July 26, 2024.
