The novelty beat out many in the ranking of games with the highest online presence in Steam history, reaching the 1.8 million concurrent players mark on January 23. While Palworld has surpassed Counter-Strike 2, it has yet to surpass PUBG: Battlegrounds, which has a peak online count of 3.2 million.
