Publisher Square Enix plans to close the servers of the mobile game NieR Re[in]carnation, created by Applibot studio. What is interesting, until the very closure of the project will receive patches with fresh content.
The game will cease to exist on April 29, 2024 right after the release of the update with the final story chapter The People and the World. Two and a half years have passed since the official release of the title, and the developers and the publisher thank everyone who gave their personal time to the game.
The reasons for the closure of servers authors do not call. Note that only in the first year after the release of NieR Re[in]carnation was downloaded 15 million times.
