Insider Daniel Richtman reports that Marvel Studios may keep the character of Kang in the "Avengers" film universe, but the antagonist will be played by another actor.
The studio's problems with Kang began after Jonathan Majors, who embodied the image of the villain on screen, found himself at the center of several scandals. After them, the bosses terminated the contract with the star, after which the fate of the Conqueror was in doubt. But apparently, because the screenwriters have tightly tied the plot of the movie universe to him, they have not decided to finally cut Kang out of the story.
So far, according to an insider, Colman Domingo and John David Washington are being considered for the role of the new Kang.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
