Eric Barone, known for his Stardew Valley creation, has announced his intention to resume work on Haunted Chocolatier once he is satisfied with the stability of the 1.6 update for his current project.
Barone clarified that his current tasks include releasing the Stardew Valley update for all platforms and fixing any identified bugs in the newest update. The final 1.6 update for Stardew Valley is already available for PC and is one of the most significant, introducing extensive new content, balance improvements and support for eight-player multiplayer.
Barone emphasized that the final scope of the update surpassed initial plans, expanding the game with new elements for aspects ranging from festivals to endgame content.
Haunted Chocolatier, Barone's next project, was first introduced in 2021.
