The third installment of the cult aviation action film Top Gun starring Tom Cruise is in development, as confirmed by producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
In early 2024, information about the development of the picture appeared, and now it has been officially confirmed in an interview with ScreenRant. While the picture is in the early stages of preparation, the filming process has not yet begun.
Bruckheimer revealed that Tom Cruise will once again lead the cast, and the team is already mulling over the storyline proposed by director Joe Kosinski. The script for "Top Gun 3" is still in development and the exact dates for the start of filming have not yet been set. No specific dates have been announced yet, but it is expected that the third installment will hit the screens much sooner than the pause between the first and second installments took.
The success of the title is quite expected.
