Production company Jagged Edge Productions has announced a sequel to the horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
The decision to continue the franchise comes on the heels of the success of the second installment, even though the first film faced critical comments from audiences but was profitable; the sequel received much more flattering reviews, although it required a larger budget.
A bigger budget is planned for the third installment, "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey." There are no exact details on the financial plans yet, but it is already known that the cast has been expanded with new characters, including Rabbit and Elephantpooh. Interestingly, news of the third movie came out before the box office results of the second movie were known. According to Variety, the second movie cost about $500,000 to make, and the creators are confident it will pay off.
