Battlefield 5 will feature kernel-level anti-cheater defenses

EA and DICE announced the introduction of EAAC, a kernel-level anti-chit system, into Battlefield V on April 3.

This system was previously integrated into Battlefield 2042, and now the developers have decided to extend its use to the previous game in the series. The developers assure that the introduction of EA anticheat will not affect gameplay. This measure is designed to more effectively combat cheaters by blocking their ability to prevent others from enjoying gameplay.

EA anticheat is effective and does not load the system without affecting the gameplay. It is active only during the launch of the game, and all processes related to the software stop after closing the client.

Activation of anti-chit in Battlefield V is scheduled for April 3 at 11:00 Moscow time. Players will need to download the client update and restart the game to apply the changes.
