Team NAVI wins Counter-Strike 2 Major

The PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 recently concluded in Copenhagen, Denmark, which was the first Major event of the Counter-Strike 2 Major series. The tournament was won by the team Natus Vincere.

In the deciding match NaVi faced FaZe Clan, a team that combined players from the United States and Europe, which took the second place in the standings. The third and fourth place positions were played between French team Team Vitality and German team G2 Esports.

For its victory in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Natus Vincere received a prize of $500 thousand. Here's how the prize money was distributed among the top four teams:

  • Natus Vincere: $500,000.
  • FaZe Clan: $170000.
  • Team Vitality: $80000.
  • G2 Esports: $80000.

It should be noted that PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 is the first significant competition after the update of Counter-Strike Global Offensive to Counter-Strike 2. Although it is still possible to play the previous version, all major championships will now be held on the Counter-Strike 2 platform.
