Andrei Voronkov, Deputy Director General of the Internet Development Institute (IDI), responsible for the direction of game and software development, shared information that the institute has invested more than 1.5 billion rubles in the development of about 40 game projects over the past three years.
Of this amount, the Smuta project has received about 490 million rubles. In an interview with RIA Novosti, Voronkov said that an increase in the number of games being released can be expected in the near future.
Among the key and significant projects of this year, he singles out "Smuta," the strategy game "Forefront," "Sparta" and "Secrets of the Museum," released in March. Voronkov also noted that in honor of the upcoming November 4 holiday, IRI plans to launch a number of educational quests dedicated to this date.
