Not everything depends on the actor.
Robert Downey Jr. has reflected on his return to the Marvel movie universe

Robert Downey Jr. has expressed his willingness to rejoin the Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. Known for his role as Tony Stark, the actor shared with Esquire his enthusiasm for a possible return to the franchise.

However, the question of bringing back his character, who died in "Avengers: Finale" in 2019, remains an open question. Despite this, Downey Jr. has hinted that Kevin Feigi, the head of Marvel Studios, might have an idea on the matter.

However, Kevin Feige has previously stated that Tony Stark will not reappear in the MCU. There is a theoretical possibility for a return across the multiverse, but Feigi is determined to maintain the significance of the character's death.

Amidst the storyline restructuring of the new phases of the MCU, especially after the departure of Jonathan Majors, who played Kang the Conqueror, there have been rumors about the possible return of some dead or disappeared characters to the universe.
