Vladivostok appeared in "World of Ships"

Lesta Games Group announces that it is starting to promote the Far East region in all of its projects. The first step was the appearance of the port of Vladivostok in World of Ships.
Vladivostok appeared in "World of Ships"

The Far East is one of the most beautiful regions of our country, with a rich history and excellent prospects. Lately, the region has been getting maximum attention: the state and local authorities are planning development programs, new business areas are opening up, and the flow of tourists is growing.

Lesta Games Group, the largest Russian game developer, also could not stay away from the Far Eastern theme. With the support of the Vladivostok administration and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), we are starting to tell millions of our players about this great land.

"Our task is to remind players of the region through the game, to fascinate them with its history and natural beauty. People living in the region will be interested to see their small homeland in one of the most popular domestic games. Vladivostok is also the main base of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy, so its appearance in World of Ships fits perfectly into the game theme"- Roman Efremov, Chief Operating Officer of World of Ships, Lesta Games Group of Companies

Since April 10, 2024, the port of Vladivostok has become available to players in the "World of Ships" project. Thanks to the painstaking work of developers, users can service and equip their ships on the background of the detailed capital of the Far East, recreated from photographs of 1945-1950. In the port of Vladivostok, the player will be able to see many buildings and structures significant for the city, including the building of the Trade Port Authority, the monument to G. I. Nevelsky, a water tower, a circus and much more.

"We have not neglected the Far East before - for example, the Soviet battleship "Vladivostok" and heavy cruiser "Petropavlovsk" have long been realized in the "World of Ships", any of our players can add them to their collection. From the end of 2023, the Far East will become one of the main points where Lesta Games Group's efforts will be applied in all projects and at all levels - from new game facilities to large-scale cyber sports tournaments "Gaukhar Aldiyarova, Head of Moscow Division of Lesta Games Group of Companies

In May, the Far Eastern theme in World of Ships will be continued: the Kamchatka peninsula will appear in the project. The region will be realized in the form of a game map, on which players will be able to fight each other. On the map you will be able to see the famous Mishennaya Sopka and "Three Brothers" rocks.

"It is a wonderful decision of the developers to add the port of Vladivostok to a game with a multi-million dollar reach. Of course, it is important that the capital of the Far East will be represented in cyberspace as well. I am sure that Vladivostok residents who play Ship World will be pleased to see their city among the significant ports of the world in such a popular domestic game. And, of course, through the visualization of Vladivostok's iconic objects the developers popularize Russia's outpost in the Asia-Pacific region "Konstantin Shestakov, Vladivostok City Head.

By the end of 2024 Kamchatka will appear as a game map in another major project of Lesta Games - World of Tanks.
