EA and DICE have announced the imminent launch of the first limited event of Battlefield 2042's seventh season.
The in-game event, called Crimson Front, will run from April 16 to April 30 and will add the popular Frontlines mode, familiar from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V, to the shooter.
In this mode, participants must fight their way through enemy territory, capturing sectors and eventually planting and detonating bombs to achieve their objectives. This activity will be available on four different maps: Sanctuary, Return, Debris and Classified.
In addition, the developers will offer themed skins as part of the event. Some of these skins will be available for free by earning special patches during the game, while other cosmetic items will be sold for real money.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have received an unpleasant surprise: the releases of two key films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been officially postponed to later dates. Both blockbusters will be delayed by six months compared to the previously announced dates.
The film adaptation of the popular horror Until Dawn has finally been released in digital format - exactly one month after its premiere in foreign cinemas. The film, based on the cult game, is now available online thanks to Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
