According to rumors, major changes are coming to DICE. According to Tom Henderson, many developers want to leave the company. There is no official confirmation yet. The reason could be critical low scores for the multiplayer military shooter Battlefield 2042 .
DICE is essentially creating a new studio. Expect layoffs. This will be announced later this week. To be clear, they are hiring a lot of new employees to replace the old ones. This will not be a new studio.
It is not yet clear how the developers intend to fix bugs in Battlefield 2042. The company has released several patches to improve the game at least a little. In the near future, players are waiting for 3 major fixes.
