Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been officially announced

Warhorse Studios has announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 by releasing an official trailer.

About 250 people are involved in the development of the game. The project is a direct continuation of the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but the developers claim that the novelty will be interesting even for those who did not play the first part.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 details:

  • KCD 2 realizes the ideas and concepts that the creators of Warhorse originally wanted to bring to life.
  • The game world is doubled in size compared to the first part.
  • The game includes about 5 hours of cinematic scenes.
  • A reputation system is introduced: Henry's actions and behavior, such as drinking or stealing, will affect the attitude of the NPCs, who will react accordingly.
  • NPCs, who will react accordingly.
  • Kuttenberg is a large medieval town to explore, playing a key role in the story and presenting challenges for developers.
  • The use of CryEngine allows the creation of varied and detailed locations.
  • Character diversity: the game will introduce a wide range of ethnic and cultural groups, especially in the cosmopolitan Kuttenberg.
  • Improvements to the combat system include new throwing weapons, crossbows and early firearms.
  • The game encourages exploration of the countryside, full of mystery and seclusion.
  • Players will encounter many random events and encounters, making the world more dynamic and engaging.
  • Character Development: Henry is still young and his character is modifiable.
  • A new chat mode allows you to interact with the world in a more natural way without distracting dialog screens.
  • The storyline will become more epic, with extended cutscenes and a continuation of the story of the first installment

The team works closely with historians, museums and experts from different cultural and religious groups to create a believable medieval world. The game will be released in late 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
