Behaviour Interactive has released update 7.7.0 for asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight, including a redesign of the in-game store and an update to the game's engine.
Dead by Daylight is now running on the Unreal Engine 5 platform. The developers emphasized that no significant graphical or gameplay improvements have been made so far, but this step laid the groundwork for possible future updates. Thanks to the engine update, the size of the game on consoles has been reduced, especially on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, where the amount of data has been reduced by about 18 GB.
Dead by Daylight was first released in 2016 and has since attracted more than 60 million players, with daily activity of up to 2 million users. The game is also available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
