The action game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has experienced a sharp decline in audience on Steam. Almost three months after its launch, the game's peak online audience now rarely exceeds 200 players, and at night the number of active users drops even below 100.
The game is clearly not meeting the expectations of publisher Warner Bros. Despite the efforts of the developers, who at the end of March tried to remedy the situation by launching the first season with new content, including the Joker character, which temporarily increased online, long-term interest in the game could not be sustained. By mid-April, peak online had fallen back to less than 500 players.
Apparently, to maintain online at over a thousand players, the developers need to release new seasons every month. However, Rocksteady Studios has no plans for such frequent updates, and the second season will have to wait for some more time.
While the development team does not comment on the current situation, but Warner Bros. Games has admitted that the results of the project were unsatisfactory.
