Paradox Interactive together with Colossal Order have released an update for Cities: Skylines 2, integrating content from the previously withdrawn Beach Properties add-on into the main game. This add-on was removed from stores due to negative user feedback, but is now available to all players on a free-to-play basis.
In addition to this, the latest patch improves the game's performance and adds support for the DLSS upscaler.
Colossal Order also announced that the next major update for Cities: Skylines 2 will focus on reworking the in-game economy based on user feedback. The new patch is expected to be released in about a month.
Previously, the development team apologized for quality issues with the game and the Beach Properties add-on. They promised a refund for the DLC, while Ultimate Edition owners were offered compensation in the form of three Creator Packs and three radios for a total of $39.99.
