Re-Logic studio has shared more information about the upcoming update for Terraria.
Reportedly, in patch 1.4.5 the project will get vertical conveyor belts. Conveyors will allow users to transport items not only horizontally, left or right, but also vertically, up or down. According to the info provided by the developers, vertical conveyors will not require special equipment to work, they will function autonomously, facilitating construction.
Also in Terraria will return orca, a rare species of shark, which was once available in some versions of the game, but was subsequently removed from the project. In the new update, players will be able to encounter this marine predator again.
Update 1.4.5 was announced on April 1, 2024, and this is no joke. In addition to the orca and conveyors, the developers will add roller skates to the game, which will allow gamers to quickly move around the world and speed up the construction process.
A specific release date for patch 1.4.5 has not yet been set.
