Dragon's Dogma 2 was the top-selling game in the U.S. game market in March 2024, according to a report from research company Circana. Helldivers 2, which held the top spot in February, dropped to the second position.
Nevertheless, Helldivers 2 maintains its leadership in the ranking of the best-selling games in the U.S. for all of 2024. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 remains in second place, while third place is now occupied by Dragon's Dogma 2.
For the first quarter of 2024, the overall drop in console sales was also significant, with revenues down 24%. The PlayStation 5 continues to be the top-selling console by revenue, with the Xbox Series in second place. Nintendo Switch leads the way in terms of units sold.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
