Dambuster Studios has released a statement to its fans, announcing plans to continue updating Dead Island 2. The development team expressed their gratitude for user feedback and emphasized their desire not to give up support for zombie action.
In the near future, the creators of the project promise to provide more information about what novelties are waiting for the game.
At the end of April the game was launched on Steam platform and enriched with the second paid SoLA add-on. In a year after release, the project attracted more than 7 million gamers, and the total number of destroyed zombies reached 24 billion.
Dead Island 2 is available for PC and consoles of both generations and is included in the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
The information was also confirmed by another reliable source.
The samurai action game couldn't beat out only Helldivers 2 and God of War.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
