BioWare developers have updated the Dragon Age 4 game page in Steam. The project now has an official Russian title — Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The full translation of subtitles and interface of the game into 12 languages, including Russian, is also announced.
Head of BioWare Gary McKay explained that the change of title from Dreadwolf to The Veilguard better reflects the key plot points of the fourth part. The authors wanted to shift the focus away from the main antagonist Solos and focus on the importance of the characters and their backstories.
In the new game of the Dragon Age series, players will once again travel to the world of Tedas, which needs a new leader. The developers promise seven companions with diverse characters and backstories.
The first gameplay trailer for Dragon Age 4, dubbed Dragon Age: The Veilguard, will be unveiled on June 11, 2024 at 18:00 Moscow time on the franchise's official YouTube channel.
