Former Mass Effect and Dragon Age boss to unveil new RPG at The Game Awards

This is his first game since he left BioWare in 2018.

Aarin Flynn, former BioWare boss and now head of his own studio, will head to The Game Awards to unveil his first game as an independent developer.

Flynn announced this through his Twitter account, where he posted a teaser of the upcoming announcement and stated that the studio intends to present its first project during the largest awards ceremony in the gaming industry. Much of what we know about this unannounced game to date came from an interview with Game Informer in 2019. The title is an online RPG, with parent company Improbable avoiding positioning the game as an MMORPG. However, it all comes down to the fact that it will be aimed at this sector of the market.

Flynn spent most of his career working at BioWare. He went from being a regular toolkit programmer on Baldur's Gate 2 to being the studio's general manager during the creation of Mass Effect 3 , Dragon Age: Inquisition , and Mass Effect: Andromeda . He left the company in 2018 after the disastrous launch of Anthem, and shortly thereafter joined Improbable, a developer of games and tech simulations. Its office is located in Edmonton, Canada.

Earlier, Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, revealed that a double-digit number of new video games will be introduced during the show!
