According to rumors, Remedy has been working on a sequel to the cult action-horror Alan Wake 2 for several months now. Epic Games is participating in the financing of this project, which means that it is highly likely that on PC the game will be available exclusively in EGS. The project was launched in early 2021 and doesn't even have a rough release date.
According to Jeff Grubb, which he said in the next issue of the Nate the Hate insider podcast, Alan Wake 2 can be officially presented at the next The Game Awards. Epic Games and Remedy Entertainment are not averse to making a fuss about the project.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
