Mods that reduce the difficulty of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree have appeared

Elden Ring fans have created several modifications that reduce the difficulty of the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on. The DLC proved to be too difficult even for experienced players, so such expansions are in particular demand. The Easy Shadow of the Erdtree modification from nacorcb reduces damage from enemies and increases survivability in fights. For the convenience of the gamer, the creator made three versions of his mod, each of which reduces the indicator by a certain percentage. The first version reduces damage by 10%, the second — by 25%, and the third — by 40%. Thus, users can choose for themselves how much they want to ease the passage of the game.

Sereenaty's modification works a little differently. It turns the in-game talisman Medallion with purple amber into a kind of difficulty switch with several modes. The first mode allows you to take 50% less damage, while the second mode makes gamers invulnerable to enemy attacks.

Shadow of the Erdtree DLC received criticism due to the high difficulty of the walkthrough. The DLC publisher has already responded to disgruntled gamers and recommended to search for fragments of the Blessing of the Tree of Decay — a special item that increases stats. But it is still unknown whether the developers plan to release balancing patches.
