The Driver franchise series has officially been cancelled.

The latest report from Ubisoft studios indicates that the company has stopped developing a series based on the Driver franchise.

Journalists drew attention to this and reminded us that the official announcement of the project took place back in 2021. But since then, it is assumed that the company had too many problems with the main gaming titles, and therefore Ubisoft simply had no time to do something third-party.

What is noteworthy is that the developers are not abandoning plans to work on new projects in the Driver franchise, but when this will happen and what kind of projects await us is not known.
