Electronic Arts' revenue decreased by 13%, reaching $1.66 billion, and profit decreased by 30%, amounting to $280 million. The decrease in revenue is explained by a drop in game sales: revenue from this segment fell by 58%. However, microtransactions showed a relatively small decrease in revenue, only 7% compared to last year. Electronic Arts expects that game sales will recover in the near future.
According to the Electronic Arts report, the release of Dragon Age The Veilguard is scheduled for the third quarter of the fiscal year, meaning the game will be released between October 1 and December 31, 2024.
