Ubisoft has confirmed a new feature for the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws: Explorer Mode will allow players to turn off the guiding color on key navigational elements in the environment.
Highlighting interactive objects and elements of the environment is a common technique that makes navigation easier in games. However, opinions on its necessity are divided: some consider it useful, others — unnecessary. Star Wars Outlaws will offer a compromise solution that satisfies both sides.
Explorer modes have long been a feature in Ubisoft's open-world games. They allow players to reduce the number of cues in favor of more organic exploration. However, the ability to turn off navigational cues has not been available before.
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on August 30 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
Players will receive daily gifts and rewards for leveling up, unique content. On the server, newcomers and experienced players will be able to re-learn the history of the game world, get many valuable rewards, and also try unique content.
