A full trailer for the Netflix anime series Terminator Zero has been released. It takes place in a universe where humans are trying to prevent machines from taking over the world. The events of the show take place not in the distant future, but in the recent past - in 2022.
This time, a killer robot from the future is chasing a scientist who is creating an unusual artificial intelligence. Perhaps this AI will be able to protect humanity from Skynet, so the scientist must be eliminated.
The series takes place in Japan, and so far only one season of Terminator Zero has been confirmed. From the canon point of view of the Terminator universe, the series is considered canon.
The Terminator Zero anime will be released on August 29, 2024.
