Saber Interactive has provided an update on the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The developers confirmed that the project has reached gold status, but are still working on polishing it before release.
The game's story is said to be self-contained and will not require familiarity with the first part, although some characters from the original will return. Space Marine 2 will also be available on GeForce Now from launch, which will please cloud gaming users.
The developers also clarified that the campaign will last 10-12 hours, depending on the chosen difficulty level. Information on PC system requirements will be published in the coming weeks.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is scheduled for release on September 9 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
Players will receive daily gifts and rewards for leveling up, unique content. On the server, newcomers and experienced players will be able to re-learn the history of the game world, get many valuable rewards, and also try unique content.
