20th Century Studios has released a new clip from the upcoming film Alien: Romulus. The tense sequence shows one of the main characters, K, hiding from a xenomorph aboard an abandoned space station.
The scene unfolds against the backdrop of a research expedition by a group of young people who have gone to the station to get equipment for their crew. As they explore the abandoned complex, the colonists begin to feel that they are not alone. They soon discover that the station is inhabited by dangerous creatures.
20th Century Studios has previously shown clips of the film, including a scene with six characters sent to journalists on VHS tapes in mid-July 2024.
Alien: Romulus will be released on August 16. Its director and co-writer is Fede Alvarez (Don't Breathe, Evil Dead: Black Book). The film is produced by Ridley Scott, the creator of the franchise and director of the first Alien, as well as Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. The lead roles are played by Isabela Merced, Cailee Spaeny, Archie Renaud and David Jonsson Frey. The final trailer for the film was released earlier.
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have received an unpleasant surprise: the releases of two key films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been officially postponed to later dates. Both blockbusters will be delayed by six months compared to the previously announced dates.
The film adaptation of the popular horror Until Dawn has finally been released in digital format - exactly one month after its premiere in foreign cinemas. The film, based on the cult game, is now available online thanks to Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.
