Ubisoft has released a trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows, dedicated to the game's world. The video features the main characters, but the main focus is on mountain valleys, Japanese cities, cemeteries, and other locations.
The developers also showed a system of changing seasons: the game has summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Snow-covered bamboo forests look unusual, but this is understandable - bamboo is an evergreen plant. Seasonal changes will affect the gameplay. For example, in winter it will be more difficult to hide in the grass (there is simply none) and it is impossible to swim to a target underwater, while in summer you can jump into the famous haystack.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on November 15, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
