Midwinter Studios has announced that the development of a new spin-off in the Dead by Daylight universe has been cancelled.
This project was listed as being in development as a PvE shooter with an as yet unknown concept and plot. The developers noted that the decision to abandon further development of the title was made based on feedback from a focus group. Testers did not like either the gameplay or the design of the game, and therefore the studio decided not to continue working on something incomprehensible.
Well, the original Dead by Daylight is alive and well.
