American writer Kelsey Martino has filed a lawsuit accusing the creators of the shooter Destiny 2 of plagiarizing his work.
According to the plaintiff, Bungie studio used the plot concepts of one of the writer's books, which was published a couple of years before the release of the game. In it, as in Destiny 2, there is a certain Red Legion and someone similar to its leader Dominus Ghaul. In addition, in the game, as in the book, there is a motive for the group to invade Earth, so the analogy is obvious.
The company has not yet responded to Martino's statements. The amount of the writer's demands has also not been disclosed.
Reynolds fought the reporters as best he could.
We will also be shown new gameplay.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
On the evening of November 14, 2024, Obsidian began accepting pre-orders for its new RPG Avowed on all major platforms, including the Russian Steam.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
