Ubisoft has appointed a new creative director for its upcoming project Beyond Good & Evil 2.
It is Fawzi Mesmar, who replaced Emile Morel, who died unexpectedly in 2023. Fawzi has 20 years of experience in video game development, so the company hopes that with him, Beyond Good & Evil 2 will reach the official release. Ubisoft really needs to release something good now, another failure could lead to bankruptcy.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 does not yet have a release date.
The studio has acknowledged several failures in the past.
The project is multiplayer and free.
The company will undertake the liquidation of a legal entity within the country.
