The creators of the fantasy tactical strategy Songs of Conquest have revealed details about the upcoming update.
The expansion is called Vanir, and it will be dedicated to a new faction with the same name. The Vanir will receive their own unique units and fighting style. They like to fight on the plains and mossy valleys, using the terrain features for a tactical advantage over the enemy.
The Vanir starting unit, which is designed as a warrior with a spear and shield, can turn into a raven with twin blades. Thus, even the starting gameplay for this faction will differ significantly from the gameplay for other nations.
The authors of Songs of Conquest have not yet announced the release date of the Vanir DLC.

There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
