Firefox creators fined in Russia

Moscow's Tagansky Court, at the request of Roskomnadzor, fined the creators of the Firefox browser for violating the law.

It is alleged that some prohibited content appeared in the browser, which the Russian authorities demanded to be removed. At the same time, Mozilla Corporation must pay a fine of 3.5 million rubles, otherwise they will not be able to continue working in the country in the future.

Representatives of Mozilla Corporation have not yet responded to the court request.
