Horizon: Call of the Mountain spin-off game for PS VR2 headset unveiled

Sony recently unveiled its new PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset. Now we can evaluate the technical characteristics of the device shown at the Consumer Electronic Show:

• OLED panels with a resolution of 2000x2040 per eye.
• Refresh rate 90/120 Hz.
• The field of view is about 110 degrees.
• Motion tracking with gyroscope and accelerometer, total 6 degrees of freedom.
• 4 external cameras and an infrared camera that tracks eye movement.
• Built-in microphone.

Among other things, we were shown one of the games that the company created specifically for PS VR2. She became the spin-off Horizon: Call of the Mountain, in which the main role will not be given to Aloy. A short teaser demonstrates the visual beauty of the created world, filled with intelligent robo-animals.

The release date of Horizon: Call of the Mountain, as well as the day the PS VR2 goes on sale, is still unknown.
