World of Warcraft Heroes Will Have Personal Homes

Blizzard has announced the introduction of a homestead system in World of Warcraft, which will not be available until the release of the next expansion, Midnight, the second in the Saga of the World Soul trilogy.
World of Warcraft Heroes Will Have Personal Homes

In the teaser dedicated to personal homes, the developers showed how players will be able to decorate their homes with trophies and other decorative items that they have collected over the years of their adventures in Azeroth. This new feature was one of the most anticipated among fans, who have repeatedly asked for a personal home system. However, despite persistent requests from the community, Blizzard has long refused this idea for various reasons.

The housing system has long existed in other MMORPGs, such as The Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantasy XIV. In World of Warcraft, similar mechanics were already present, for example, in the Warlords of Draenor expansion, the Garrison was introduced, and in Legion - "Order Halls". However, neither of these innovations could be called a full-fledged home.

So far, Blizzard has not revealed details about the new system, and most likely, additional information will appear closer to the release of Midnight, which will not happen earlier than in a year and a half to two years.
