Steam Closes Sales of Avowed for Russian Residents

The price of the standard version of the game was 2,250 rubles, which was one of the most affordable on the international market.

However, on the morning of November 15, users from Russia were faced with the fact that the ability to purchase the game was blocked. Now it is impossible to place an order even for the extended edition, which cost 5,790 rubles. In other countries, pre-orders are still available.

This is not the first time that games have become unavailable for users in Russia via Steam. Previously, a similar situation occurred with the free shooter Marvel Rivals, as well as with the game Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, which was initially available, but soon also disappeared from the regional store. In the case of Avowed, the game page on Russian Steam remains visible for now, although purchase is unavailable.

Avowed is scheduled for release on February 18, 2025 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. PC players will be able to purchase the game through Steam, Game Pass and Battle.net.
