According to the creator, the events of the film will unfold in modern times. The main location will be New York and Hong Kong, where Connor MacLeod lives and survives. The main character has studied many types of martial arts well over half a thousand years, and this is what he is ready to demonstrate to all viewers and his fans.

So far, the new Highlander does not have a premiere date. It is assumed that filming will begin in May 2025.
